What is WhyTry? WhyTry is a 10-week course that typically runs 1.5 hrs two days per week for ten weeks.
Who is this course for? This course is for people who have been out of work, don’t know what to do, where to go for help and are discouraged. This course is for people who may feel anxious and/or isolated and need connection.
What does this course provide? This course will provide many fun ways to develop life skills, re-motivate, build resiliency, while creating a supportive, community atmosphere. It utilizes many methods to engage participants – metaphors are a primary tool, music, visual analogies, games, journaling, homework, art, group activities and discussions are all part of this exciting course.
What will you take away from WhyTry? This is a course about building supports from within yourself and your community; where people can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable doing, while remaining in an accepting, caring atmosphere.
